Today Frilansene has to scopes, Horse and Foot

Horse educates the medieval mounted warrior through the four divisions Hunting (riding in terrain), Combat (mounted close combat), Tournament (mounted duels) and Cavalry (ridning i formations).

A central part of Horse is the Liechtenauer-tradition, a western martial art documented from the end of the 13th century, but with traces even further back.

Foot educates the medieval warrior on foot, mainly through "hærkampsystemet" - a modern, recognized system that enables safe fencing with "live steel" weapons, but also through the historical Liechtenauer-tradition where this may be applied safely.
